It is important to Dr. A. Claire Wilson to help her patients change their well being by providing them with the education they need to maintain their optimum oral health. She also enjoys working with our pediatric patients and helping them form good habits that will keep their mouths healthy for life.
Dr. Wilson worked as a nurse while pursuing her BS degree in biology from Guilford College and her dental degree from UNC Chapel Hill. While in Dental School, she was involved in research and presented and published her research in the Journal Of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Wilson started her dental practice in 1987. She has served as past president of High Point Dental Society and in various committees on the North Carolina Dental Society. To this day, continuing education is a very important aspect of her practice as she keeps up with current issues and emerging dental information.
Being born and raised in Guilford County, Dr. Wilson has made it a point to be involved in her community and give back. She is a very active member of her church and volunteers her time with Tiny Houses of High Point, Open Door Ministries, Healthy Guilford County Coalition and United Way of Greater High Point.
In her free time, Dr. Wilson enjoys painting, cooking, and running. She also loves spending time with her 2 year old dalmatian, Jewel.
